John Bonfiglio is a Principal of Allegiance Investment Advisors, LLC, a real estate investment and advisory firm.
From 2001 to 2009 he was a Group Managing Director at Fitch Ratings', responsible for varying sectors of, and then the entire, US Structured Finance area. This included the Commercial Mortgage, Real Estate Investment Trust, Residential Mortgage, Asset Backed Securities, and the Structured Finance Risk Groups. John was co-head of Fitch's commercial mortgage group from 1997-2000. In 2009 he founded and ran Block Island Investors, LLC a real estate investment and consulting firm.
Prior to joining Fitch in 1993, John was a vice president with The O'Connor Group, where he was responsible for purchasing $800 million of retail and office properties.
John earned a BA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania before receiving an MBA in real estate finance from Columbia University.
